A reduced boiler efficiency will not lead to reduced boiler combustion efficiency.

One defines boiler efficiency via combustion efficiency. Many boiler maintenance departments pay attention to boiler combustion efficiencies and do not consider the other boiler heat losses.
• Boiler Thermal Efficiency
It is connected with the efficient work of the boiler heat exchanger. One can lessen the efficiency of a boiler with boiler soot build-up or boiler water scaling.
• Boiler Steady-State Efficiency
It is known as the efficiency of the boiler running full blast under maximum load.
• Boiler Overall Seasonal Efficiency
One should pay attention to the possibility of having an annual degradation in boiler efficiency. If you want to apply your boiler system as effectively as possible, you should have a certain boiler maintenance/efficiency plan required for its better effectivity and cost savings.
