8. Was a written proposal presented by the contractor?
9. Have you examined the contractors address, telephone and fax numbers, and tax ID number?
10. What kind of safety and quality programs does the firm have prepared to protect its workers and the customer? Do they have any licenses? Is their safety record better than in compliance with the national average?
11. Who will take charge of the work?
For estimation of a contractor aforementioned questions do not close thereon. This list may extend further. Be sure to review bids for work attentively, focusing not just on price, but also on quality and professionalism to fulfill the scope of work on the particular Roofing, Waterproofing or Dampproofing project.
